Seattle Part 3: The Wedding

The real reason for the Seattle Vaca... The Wedding! Yea, I love weddings. So here's the to the happy couple. I just want to name some of my favorite things about the wedding that they did (I wish I had pictures of all these things):

1. For the reception sign in book, they had 2 digital cameras floating around throughout the night. So you took a picture of yourself having a great time, then walked over to a printer that you set the camera on, printed immediately, grabbed your photos and put them directly into a book and signed your words of wisdom and congratulations next to your photo. INSTANT PHOTO ALBUM, loved it!

2. For the groomsman gift, David had personalized Nike kicks made for all the men in his line. Each guy got shoes made with the color of their college of graduation and there significance in the wedding written on the back. Very thoughtful Dave!

3. Jessie had a basket of new flip-flops next to the dance floor, with a sign "Dancing shoes, let your feet have fun".

4. One of my favorites...At the entrance they had wedding photos of their parents and grandparents all in black and white and framed really elegantly. It was fun to see the dresses from their eras. My favorite was David's Grandma Joan, she was so beautiful, and the dress so timeless.
5. The many candles throughout the event. Mike and I sat in the back for the ceremony, and this was the amazing view. The event was at Courts Square, it's like this alley way between two buildings. They've covered the roof and open walls with glass, so you are enclosed in the alley. It was absolutely gorgeous!

6. Cake, you've got to love the colorful and flirty cake they chose, I just love what you can do now days!

So the night was full of food, fun and dancing, all my favorite things. It was so good to see David and have the giant hug I miss so much. He is such an amazing friend. It was great for Mike and I to be together and reflect on the year we had just experienced, I'm so glad he could take off work and be there with me. I love being married! And I'm so excited for Dave and Jessie, I hope we can get together more often in the future. Congratulations!!!!!!
