Chewed up and spit out
Do you ever just want to cry but can't? We just got back from shopping for some nicer business clothes for Mike. He needs to start dressing up a bit more and felt like he needed some more options. He also needs a couple new pair of shoes. He only has one brown pair, and although they are very handsome shoes, they don't go with everything. So after shopping for the last two hours, with no success mind you, we come home to Nola and Mike's only pair of brown leather shoes, torn into 50 pieces on the kitchen floor. And she knew she was in trouble because she ran to her kennel to hide when she heard us unlocking the back door. I'm so frustrated because now we don't even have one pair of nice brown shoes, and no new sporty clothes for Mike. And Sad because Nola just got spanked! Her little face just showed she was heartbroken. I don't know about future Disciplining when I'm a parent, but I can see now why my mom always said "this is harder on me than on you". The look on her face broke my heart. (Yes I know she's just a dog)

Sorry you've had such a hard time. Don't know if you tried this, but we have had amazing luck with Men's Warehouse. I took Pete there to get his suit for graduation, and they were awesome. Since then Pete has gone in by himself, which is brave because he can't match anything, and they have taken over and found what he needs. We also bought him a pair of shoes. Good luck!

Kohl's friends and family is next weekend...hit it up. That's what we did when Derrick needed a new wardrobe.
I have nothing of help, but I can certainly commiserate! Both with it being hard to punish, and with no shopping luck. Can you imagine the trouble we have with Travis and his arm and leg length and his size 16 shoes! Good luck!!
