1. We love BYU blue (wasn't sure I'd ever be saying this before Mike). They had a great game yesterday to kick of the college football season. We were able to enjoy it with many good friends and great snacks! Even delicious blue cupcakes by Karen.
2. The the best and more important reason we love Blue this week is because
WE ARE HAVING A BOY!!!!!
WA HOOOOOOOOO!!!! Tears of joy were shed upon finding out this wonderful news. We (especially my handsome hubby) are so very excited to find out about this little man growing in side me. He is healthy and perfect, except that he didn't want his mama to have a good profile picture at this ultrasound. He was hiding from the tech the whole time. He took the full hour scan for her to get the shots she needed. This was very much to my surprise as last time, at the 12 wk scan, she raved about how photogenic this little baby was posing for darling pictures. I hope that this is not going to be a trend, his daddy also Hates pictures.....Hence there are not many these days on the blog.Its amazing how much I already love this little man and want everything to be perfect for his arrival. I've been trying to research all things baby: car seats, cribs, pack-n-plays, strollers... you name it. I find myself wanting someone to just tell me what I HAVE to HAVE because they loved theirs so much. So if you have any tips...you know where to find me, I'd love to hear suggestions on baby gear you may have.

hey i have a single jogger if you want to buy it for $50. it is a schwinn. totally awesome. i used for only a season with nolan and then we found out we were pregnant with luke. if you don't want to spend a fortune you can have ours. just to throw that out there.
you should look for pack'n plays on nextag.com. totally cheap and great! we didn't want any theme going for our boys. we're not in to that. so they had just what we wanted. i would say, after having two, that the most important thing is a swing. we never have had one and i wish we would have gotten the swing that swings both ways. it is a lot more money but you could try craigslist to find it cheaper. i think for the rest of the advice i will have to hang out with you. my husband has informed me, as i write, that i am writing a novel. so sorry. i'm just so excited for you and boys are right up my alley. so excited for you!!!!!!
Congrats! We are so happy for you guys! As for necessities, the one thing both of my boys loved was the little vibrating bouncer chairs. Neither of my kids liked the swing much, but we loved the little bouncer chairs! Good luck! Can't wait to hear more exciting updates from you guys! :)
