I've been dreaming up our little baby's room since we found out it was a boy. I find myself in love with simple prints; stripes, poke-a-dots, argyle. As I was showing them to Mike yesterday He shouts "They're all so METRO, my BOY will not sleep in that kind of bed! We are getting trucks or cars or superheros, sports even! I'm in charge of picking out the bedding now, you can't be trusted." Apparently Mike now cares about shopping for baby stuff. I've been asking him to shop with me for a month and he refuses, but he cares about the decorating? I don't get men. I'll be honest, I'm not that crazy about most of the "boy themed" crib sets, they all look so cheesy to me.

That sounds exactly like Jon. He always told me he didn't care about things like that, but as soon as I'd show him what I was thinking he suddenly had a STRONG opinion. Aren't husbands wonderful? Hopefully you can find a happy medium... :)
I am with you. I did Cameron's room in blue and brown stripes and polka dots. I was never attracted to the other stuff. Of course, he sleeps in our bed with his crib in our room. So basically his room is mostly empty, except for his clothes. But there are curtains.
Oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Apparently I haven't looked at your blog in a while! I didn't even know you were pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are soooooooooooooooooooo excited for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's funny but hey he has to make sure his room is a BOY room and no girl stuff in there for his boy ;)
I love decorating the room, such a fun party of being pregnant. Again so excited for you!
