WE'VE BEEN BUSY!!!

We are more than excited, (and I'll admit sometimes a little scared), to embark upon this journey of parenthood. It's amazing to see already how developed this little person is, it is truly a miracle to watch as they do the ultrasound all the tiny details that are rapidly forming. Look closely and you can see the developing teeth buds!! We have so much to start learning and preparing for. Mike has been hard at work trying to finish our basement so we will have more room when family comes to visit. This baby will make my mommy a grandma, which she is more than thrilled about and my brothers and sister uncles and an auntie. I love calling my dad on the phone and addressing him as grandpa, he just seem so young to me still. I often wonder what color hair it will have, if it will be curly or straight, if it will look more like a Spencer or a Bauter, if it's a boy or girl, and how our Nola will react. Many things wander through my imagination, and we won't have to wait long, it seems time is already flying by!! Just 6 months to go, our baby is already the size of a large lemon!

Congrats! That is awesome! You guys will be amazing parents. Keep us posted. I always feel a little sad when I read all our Kohl's buddy's blogs...it sure was fun out there!

So I was just flipping through Facebook and realized that you know Jonathan Vellinga. How funny. He and I had a class together way back at Weber, and I went to school with his little sis. How funny is that?!
